The World Julian Aleksandrowicz Scientific Congress

As a continuation and development of ideas promoted by Professor Julian Aleksandrowicz, the Nestor of Polish psychosomatics who provided inspiration for the research on health and promotion of health and who developed concepts of ecological prevention of cancer and leukaemia and comprehensive psychotherapy of persons suffering from somatic diseases. Your participation is most welcome.

The Congress aims not only at recalling the heritage and work of our Professor, but to examine the impact of His inspiring concepts on generations of doctors, scientists, intellectuals and artists. It is also important to determine the status of research on health and illness taking into account theories and practical implications, as well as an interdisciplinary approach to man and his health, which emphasises the importance of various disciplines of science such as medicine, psychology, pedagogy, philosophy, music and art in solving problems of contemporary man, whether healthy or affected by disease
